Renovation of Morningside/Lenox Park Traffic Circle now complete

[gallery order="DESC" orderby="rand"] If you live near Habersham Gardens Intown Garden Center, chances are you've driven around the traffic circle that tames congestion at the intersections of Morningside Drive, North Pelham and a few other roads.  Many years ago, Habersham adopted this traffic circle and committed to keeping it planted in an effort to beautify an otherwise plain but practical plot of land. Habersham Gardens' owner Deb Harrison was inspired this spring to completely renovate the entire circle and you can see here the result of her vision coupled with the talent and expertise of Habersham's Landscape Services staff. The traffic circle became more beautiful as Morningside/Lenox Park neighbors worked with Habersham to place the garden bench and birdbath in memorial to dear friends. Below is a note from a neighbor with specifics of the donation. We are proud to be part of the Morningside/Lenox Park community and hope you enjoy the park for many years to come. The memorial bench in honor of Mrs. Mary Bruce has been placed in the circle at the head of N. Pelham, and the plaque has been secured to the bench.  The plantings in the circle are lovely, and our bench looks perfect among them.  It is a lasting gift to the neighborhood from all of us.  It is also the perfect tribute to Mrs. Bruce, and it is much appreciated by her children, Elizabeth Jane and Charles.  As many of you know, a beautiful bird bath has also been placed in the circle in memory of Roy and Jemimi Fowlkes.  Roy's sister, Ann Gilreath, has spearheaded this project, and Sue Parker has made the arrangements.  Presently the memorial plaque that will stand beside the bird bath is on order and will be in place within the next few weeks.  Deb Harrison of Habersham Gardens, which has "adopted" the circle, has been very helpful and generous in assisting us with these memorial projects, and we want to thank her.   Another nice note of thanks recently received:
