- Develop a list of landscape improvements you need versus
improvements you would like to have done, regardless of
size.
- Why are you considering
a change in the landscape? Are there problem areas such
as drainage, too much shade or sun, erosion issues in
your landscape, or do you simply want to improve your outdoor
gardening experience? What are your expectations?
- Come up
with a budget range and communicate that with your design
team so they can guide you through the consultation process.
If there are must-haves such as specific plant material
or a particular stone for your new walkway, make sure
you are aware that there are always material options, should
price become a deterring factor.
- Establishing realistic
financial goals for your landscape renovation project will
make it easier for us to come up with a solution. Would
you be willing to complete the project in phases? This
may allow you to get your dream landscape, but in two or
three phases instead of one.
